Votes Are In --- Be Prepared for Chaos

( – The year 2020 has been a rollercoaster of bad luck and chaos. The moment millions of Americans have been waiting for is finally here; Election Day has come and gone. Despite all the votes being cast, there is still no definitive winner. No matter the results, you need to prepare for the chaos that could come.

Of course, if you’re waiting this long to prepare, it’s going to be hard to do it sufficiently. That doesn’t mean you shouldn’t take the time to do what you can to plan for what’s to come, but it will probably be a little more difficult.

If you haven’t done it already, be sure to stock up on food. Rice, beans, canned foods, cornmeal, flour, sugar and oil are all long-term foods that are easy to store. You should also make sure that you have a back-up source of power in case of an outage or grid failure. All your frozen and refrigerated foods won’t last long if the power goes out for an extended period of time. That’s not to mention the outside temperature; could you survive without power if it got below freezing?

An important part of any prep is medical supplies, the most common one being a first-aid kit. You need to be able to treat minor injuries such as cuts, scrapes and insect stings. If chaos does occur, you’ll also likely feel much safer with a firearm. Even a cheap handgun is enough to fend off attackers. After all, it’s better than not having anything at all.

Are you going to be ready when the results come in? There is speculation on both sides that no matter what the result is, it will lead to a second Civil War. Check out how you can further prepare for the election chaos and keep your family safe.
